Community Development Block Grant Planning and Technical Assistance Funding
The Glenn County Board of Supervisors held a public hearing on August 20, 2013 and adopted the Economic Development Strategy as developed by Chabin Concepts Consulting along with the efforts of the Farm Bureau, several county departments, UC Davis Cooperative Extension, elected officials from the County of Glenn, as well as the Cities of Orland and Willows. 2014-15 Community Action Plan
The Community Action Plan is required by federal and state laws for agencies receiving Community Services Block Grant funds, and identifies poverty-related needs within the tri-county area, available resources to address those needs, feasible goals and strategies to prioritize services, programs and activities. The plan is required every two years and sets the framework for service provision for the following two calendar years (2014 and 2015).
